I have two of Mashedcats sheaths,,,,, skinny ash1 and a bad,,,,,,very well made and fit perfectly,,,,,you will like em,,,,an so will yer hogs

Great looking sheaths!

I may have to try Mashed Cat again. I got one from BCS with a BAD, but the blade would barely go in the sheath. I like handle retention only with NO Blade touch. I suppose unless you send the knife in it may be hard to have a perfect handle retention only fit.

Brian makes an excellent pair of custom pants, no doubt. I've owned a couple. Eric's are great because I don't have to send them in and they have fit perfect so far. I wouldn't notice any blade rub since all my blades are severe users. What I do to them will leave more marks than kydex. But like I said, they feel downright perfect to me.

CS Trailmaster? What is this "CS Trailmaster" you speak of? Heretic!

The sheaths are nice, though. I have a couple mashed cats, and they're great.

I don't have any Mashed Cat sheaths yet...but by the looks of those pics it might be time to pull the trigger on one.

I had a CS trailmaster for years too (sanmai version). Got a lot of use out of it before I passed it on to another. I found that I really did not need it with the FBMLE hanging around demanding attention.

I really like the mashed cat sheath I have for my FBMLE, and for my SS. It fit perfect for the SS until I modded the SS, then instead of sending it back for a refit, I just boiled some water, and did it my self. Now it is an uglified mashed cat, that fits super tight around the handle. I could not even get the knife out until I softened it again and worked a bit. If I ever take the D guard off my FBMLE (which I need to do because I made it too big, but am too lazy) I will send that FBMLE sheath back in to mashed cat to have it refit to the reshaped handles.
