New Pioneer II Problems

Hello friends.

So I finally recieve the Pioneer II drop-point with a plain, satin blade. I ordered it solely on the recommendations I read on this forum. As expected, it is solid as a brick and all the parts line up perfectly. It is also a bit roughly finished--as expected.

Unfortunately, the blade opening action is not smooth at all. It was decent for the first few openings, but something then "clicked" and it got really, really rough. It is so hard that it is not possible to open with one hand. I'm pretty sure something is actually wrong with it.

I am tempted to disassemble this thing and polish/oil the insides and see what happens. What do you all think?

]Sounds like something broke or moved we would appreciate it if you would send the knife back be for you do any thing to it. When something goes wrong whit a knife and someone modifies it, it becomes difficult if not impossible to find the original problem and if we don’t now what went wrong in the first place we cant make changes to our product to stop what ever from happening again.
