Hey everyone. Picked this up Wally World the other day to try on my knife pivots and it seems to work really well. Dries up leaving no wetness to attract dirt and debris and leaves the action good and smooth. It has a ball in the can like a can of spray paint.

FYI, it is not food safe. So don't use it on a knife that you will cut food with.

"Ingestion: CONTAINS PETROLEUM DISTILLATES. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call physician immediately."

Here is a link to the datasheet (pdf format).

I would think that implies to drinking it. I would think that if contained to the pivot area any residue left behind on the blade after it has evaporated and dried wouldn’t be harmful especially if it’s wiped down well.

That stuff does work well. I dont jam my knifes down into my food past the pivot. Generally there's a decent Gap between the end of the handle and the area of the blade that touched food. So if I oil the pivot and wipe the entire blade down well there's nothing to get on my food.

Agreed. I just bought my can a few days ago so I’m still in the decision phase but so far it seems to work pretty well. I’ve been using Benchmade Bluelube for the past few years and it works really well. I use regular WD-40 on all my leatherman tools since that’s what they recommend and it does a great job on them.

It's good stuff. I use it to lube the car door hinges and the garage door rollers. Still rely on BreakFree CLP for lubing my knives, though, just a tiny drop is enough.

I used gunny lube-didn't like it.
CRK grease works good.
As of recent "try outs", Nano Oil is getting 2 thumbs 👍🏻 up
