New pocket clip design

For christmas my cousin gave me a salt 1 and while I happily noticed that it was not pinned he noticed that they are making the pocket clip look more like the new delica 4's. Now my question is if anyone knows if its still made out of titanium like the older salt models or SS like the delica's?

Hi Krust,

We're slowly moving the old style clip to the new hourglass shape. Materials are the same. They'll be showing up on other models in time.

Cool ,thanks Sal. I have to say I much prefer the hourglass clip compared to the older salt clip. I have the older salt clip on a spyderhawk and it takes two hands to stow away in pocket sometimes when wearing carharts and it eats them up to.
Would we be able to order the new ti hourglass clip from the spyderco factory outlet?
 
Wow! The new Salt clip looks really good. Nice move by Spyderco, I think. Personally, I still prefer the pinned construction though.
 
dag nabbit... Screw construction! That means I'll probably have to pick up another Pacific Salt. I really prefer screws to pins...
 
Thanks Sal..Really digging the new/old clip style. Its a lot easier to get in and out of the pocket...That and the new screw construction
