Hello,

please wake up ! there is picture on chris reeve site !!! ;-D

BTW this new clip is just a BOMB !

It will change your Sebenza for ever !!!

C'est d'la Bombe bébé !

cheers,
JM

JM, I am not sure about in French, but to use the word "bomb" in reference to a product in English almost always means that it is not good, and a complete failure. I have the new pocket clip on my Sebenzas, and find it outstanding. I think that you were trying to say the same thing, but apparently didn't go over the way you intended.

The CRK pic is a profile view and does a good job of illustrating the difference between the old and new.

I'd still like to see a pic showing it at a regular angle to see how it looks on the knife.

James, got any in, yet?

Lunde,

I did'nt knesw that "Bomb" will have a negative sense.

In french "Lame" means "Blade" "and "Sharp"... Also I need to be careful ;-D

Anyway the clip is a major improvment in an so excellent knife line.

Thanks Chris Reeve and all your team do turn our dreams into reality !

cheers,
JM

Nemo,
I think you meant the Sebenza clip is "the bomb" as opposed to "a bomb". These two phrases mean the complete opposite of one another; the bomb being good and a bomb being bad.

JoeCop:
Are the pics of Sebenzas that you had and replaced the clips on as I note the cut-out under the clip?

I thought the cut-out had been eleminated?

BTW, beautiful small wood inlay.

Nimrod, I replaced the old style clips on my existing sebenzas with the new ones. The new style clip works fine with the cut-out. I read in a post that new sebenzas will be equipped with new style clip and cut-out untill remaining supply of this style handle runs out.

Nemo, I am awake and I saw the sketch of a profile of the new clip. Joe knew what I meant. Thanks Joe for the nice pics.

Here's what I don't understand. When CR eliminates the cut-out...what will keep the clip from rotating on the back scale? There will still be only the one screw. Most other clips either sit in a cut-out (new Spydercos) or are secured with multiple screws. Won't the thing just gradually rotate a little without the cut-out...or am I just not oota ightbra?

LynnBob, it's not the well for the clip retained end, it's the cut out ahead of it.
