Hey I am new here and looking for a new knife. I am a fan of the black blades which have a more tactical look. I don’t know much so looking for some recommendations.

Black Blade
4" or under
Under $130
would like a higher quality company, but the cheaper the knife the better

So thank you,

Wayne

Why these 2? Both are black, quality knives, represent 2 different price ranges but still within your budget. I think they would both make a perfect EDC. There are many many other knives out there that fall into the range of what you are looking for though. You'll get a lot more replies soon :D

Welcome to BFC!

i just received a spyderco atr stainless. the blade isnt black, but i like it a lot, the blade is 3 and 7/16 inches, but it feels good in the pocket, doesnt seem too big. the quality in my opinion is excellent, im really impressed with it. just my 2 cents.

ATR SS will be availible in black diamond like coating, over the whole thing soon. I like the 806D2 or 710HS

right after i baught mine it saved my life, long story short some guy attacked me and it "scared" him off :D

may I ask why the Spyderco Para-Military wasent mentioned. I was looking at this model

I'll chime in with my little EDC...an Emerson mini CQC-7B...can be had for WELL under $130, I got mine for $90 shipped.

806D2. It's pretty much the only knife that is on me all the time. It rides in the left pocket. The right side varies with mostly fixed blades but the 806D2 is my constant companion. :D

You mean beside the fact that 806D2 has axix lock

have you ever handled one of those para militarys? there nice but just dont have a good feel to them.
