You've presented a tough choice. I've heard the 8 is an awesome defensive knife but have never held one. I'd also love to have a longer Tanto style blade with a wave.

If they were available, I'd be carrying one of each.

This Poll ends in 4 days. Make sure you vote. Don't get pissed because there are not more choices or because I left the ES1M [Large Commander] off the list. Ernie said he does not want to make one.

Because I would like to have Derek print this out with the results when it is done and hand it to Ernie.

Encourage him to make the next cover of every major Knife Magazine in the World. And I do believe the CQC-8 with a Wave would do just that.

I remember hefting Fenris' CQC-8...I had to give it back to him because I just did not want to fall in love with the damned thing!

Would anyone support the idea of a WAVED CQC-8 that has something different from a production knife that could be a knife for forum members to buy? The first thing that comes to mind is different scales?.....or "Usual Suspect" lasered on the backside of the blade?

You'll get a lot of support for that.

Back in January, John Hollister started working on a project that was designated TUSK - `The Usual Suspects Knife'. Search on the threads using `TUSK'.

Hmmmmmmm now that I'm thinking about it.

I don't know if I would want EKI to produce a Waved-8. I like having something that there isn't a lot of that everyone else wants

But then again it would be cool to have an un-Godly amount of my favorite Emerson blade
