I've been observing and lurking, doing research for new blades as well as how tos and would like to pass on thanks to knowledgable members who through their postings have enabled me to do some informed purchases and maintenance for the beginning of a knife collection.
I'm flat amazed at how how enjoyable it is to have a favorite folder in one's pocket which really performs cutting chores well unlike in the past when I squished tomatoes instead of slicing.
Next amazement- the quality of production knives available now for the cost, particularly from the Twainese company, Taichung. The Gail Bradley recently purchased is one of my most treasured possessions. And the Ontario Rat 1- what value in a well made folding knife. Makes one appreciative of the efforts of these knife production companies.
I look forward to reading more and maybe offering some tips myself.
