I was wondering if it is in any way possible to the individual users on BF to adjust what forums new content are aggregated from when this button is pressed.

To clarify:
I have very little interest in the manufacturer's forums or The Exchange.
And me being a "New Posts" kinda forum user, this would be an awesome feature to have a more directed feed of interesting to me) new posts.

I've never seen such a feature on the forums I peruse, but thought it worth a shot to ask.
It sure would be nice to see what's cooking on the site, without the areas I do not have all that much interest in.

Thanks

Searching the settings, I have found something you might use. Go to a forum you are interested in, Custom & Handmade Knives, for example. Above the list of threads, you will find Forum Tools. Click on that and set how you wish to be notified of new posts.

I use this function to automatically subscribe to threads I post in, or manually for threads I want to follow. It should work for forums as well.

You can then go to Settings (upper right corner) at any time to see where any of your subscribed forums or threads have new posts.

A bit of a tangent from new posts only, but regarding Subscribed Threads:

You can then go to Settings (upper right corner) at any time to see where any of your subscribed forums or threads have new posts.

Subscribed Threads are also available through the Quick Links tab atop each page's menu bar.

This is especially useful to quickly locate subscribed threads one might want to add to or browse again, that may or may not have new posts since one's last visit-- and only 1.5 clicks to view the list. ;)
