nice knife ya got there.
your getting better tim.
one of these days you'll be a decent knifemaker...maybe.

ya washed up old bastid. :p

A great piece Tim.

As you know, your pearl handled Sliver in Damasteel was my favorite folder at the show and I regret that I couldn't afford to purchase it from you. So it goes.

I hope you'll post a picture of it for the forumites who didn't have the good fortune to see it (and fondle it) as I did.

Oh, and by the way, nice as that picture above is, it doesn't do Tim's knife justice. It was breathtaking.

Blues,
Just bop him over the head and take it. :)

Tim,
Stunning!

Thanks for taking the time to show it to us. I think you just convinced me to go to AKI. I may not be able to afford a thing, but I gotta go look :)

Tim, Beautiful piece but I got to ask you AGAIN. Are you ever gonna show us anything that isn't already sold yet? ;)

I was one of the lucky few who got to fondle this little beauty, and it is simply the most elegant knife I have ever held. The way Tim has transfered what appears to be the ricasso onto the handle is brilliant, and is the secret to making this folder in the exact proportions as the original fixed blade knife. Fantastic knife!

And Tim even heat treated it himself!! :)

So Jerry, Tim told you waving a BIC under the blade was heat treating huh? ;)

Tim, it's good to see you ripping off designs from makers who are long dead, I bet there's a lot less explaining to do, huh? :p

All kidding aside, I don't have to handle that knife to know how nice it is. If Tim Herman put his name on it, it's a work of art.

Darn it, why wasn't I born rich instead of good looking so I could afford one of his knives? :(

I think the word already used -- STUNNED -- fits best here. I thought for a second it was a fantastic dagger -- FB type -- then I see it is a folder. WOW!

In addition to being a gorgeous knife, I think those pieces of pearl are in the top 3 or 4 I've ever seen. It is just great that they are used on a knife worthy of them!

Don't you love it when you see a topic like this one? And don't you love it when the knife turns out to merit the attention? Pure jaw-dropper, Tim. Way to go!

Tim,
Beautiful,just BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!
I can only dream of the day that I could afford to add a knife of this quality to my collection.

Wow.

I'm not a knife expert, so those comments would be plebeian at best. However, I am a connoisseur of beauty, and that is a thing of beauty!

...btw, the knife ain't half bad neither :):D
Hey Tim, can you send me a copy of that a$$ avatar of yours? :D :D
