Hey Guys, was doing the usual and cruising all the best Custom Knife Sites and came across some interesting news, Arizona Custom Knives will be publishing a Printed Catalog of knives of all kinds for sale and will be mailing it out to all those who are interested.

I emailed Julie and asked about the Catalog, she replied quickly and explained that she is working with Paul Basch (formerly of AG Russell) and stated that the new catalog would be very similiar to another Knife Catalog that many of us Knife Knuts used to enjoy getting each month or two. She said that it will not have color pictures at first but that may be an option if the catalog takes off. The name of the magazine will be The Point .

I have purchased from Julie both through her Website and at Shows and she is always a joy to talk with (very upbeat and positive) and she has a great selection of knives. Many of her pieces are from the most well known Makers but she does showcase new Makers (who thus offer great bargains) as well.

I used to love having a printed catalog to browse through while in bed (kind of like Christmas - with visions of Suger Plums dancing in my head) :D so I look forward to enjoying that again.

If you are interested just go here http://www.arizonacustomknives.com and near the Top of the page you will see a link (in Blue) to Signup for the first mailing. Should you have any questions just shoot her an email or better yet, give her a call and I'm sure that she can help you. I think this will be great.

It looks like you have to live in the US to be able to get this catalog. I am going to email Julie just to be sure, but that is the way it looks to me. I filled out the form and left the state blank as per the instructions. When I clicked submit it stated that I had left something out and that I had to go back and fill it in.

Didn't know it was just for US residents only or not, let us know what Julie says.

I also wonder if they will have consignments from other people. I got quite a few great deals out of the other catalog when it was being printed. Many of them were previously owned but in almost Mint condition.

Some nice knives in there for sure but most of them are way out of my price range unfortunately.

I saw a gents folder for $2600. As much as I'd like to have a knife like that I really couldn't see myself paying that much for a knife. I envy those who can!

Guys, I talked with Julie and asked her some of the questions that we were wondering, here are the responses.

The Magazine will not be available out of the US at this time. If the publication takes off (which I think it will) it will become available to other countries next year.

She will be accepting Consignment knives for the catalog, so there will be a variety of stuff (old and new, production and custom) available.

The first Magazine should be ready to ship within the next few weeks. If you are going to the Chicago Show (In September I think) she will have some available there for sure.

Anyone else looking forward to that first edition??!!!
