Gang,

This product was developed by a good friend. It was originally intended as a concealment aid for firearms and has been adapted for knives as well.

I have been asked to introduce this product to some deserving folks, and I thought of my fellow forumites. Specifically, Busse forumites.

Comments, questions and (we hope) orders are welcome. I will caution that these units will be made "on demand" and the guy does have a "real" job. Colors are available, but I'm not sure about customer requests for specific ones. I will say that translucent ones are not as "sharp".

Because the Cap'n Crunch is always on the top shelf!

Oh yeah, he hasn't setted on a name for the thing yet, so for now I'm calling it "thingy" or Con/sok. Trying to convince him that a naming contest would be good. Perhaps a "freebie" to the winner?

That is so utterly cool.

Oku and Friend, I salute you. Brilliant. ;)

What's the deal? Do you send him your existing sheath for attachent of the cell phone plate or do you have to buy the whole goins' ons in one package from him.

What about other models for say the NO/E, etc?

now that IS cool! tell us more.

what packages are avaible?

can you get free roaming?

free long distance on weekends?

do we have to sign a 1 year contract?

does the jack come with the phone?

:footinmou very nice oku:cool:

Are these pics and the necessary info going on your site, Brian? There are questions that need answering my friend.:p

Thanks guys!

I just spoke with Tom, and he'll be ready to start producing these in about a week.

Sorry no long distance!

Info will be on my site eventually, but at the moment, he wants to see how much interest there is in the product.

Cool Part: These are "stand alone" units and are not integral to the sheath. I think he wants to call it the Urban Camouflage Sok or UCS. I took a pic yesterday to show that, but something went "snarky" with the editing software (likely operator error).

Being a "sok" it just slides on the end of the sheath or holster and therefore can be used on more than one sheath.

Colors: Kind of a tough question due to the supplier he us es. Easily available are: Black, silver and a "pyukie green".

The way to get these if ya wanna, is to order 'em from me via e-mail or phone (number is on my site). I'll be happy to answer any questions that come up!

Got to see these at last weekend's Washington Arms Collectors show, plus picking up a killer sheath project Brian applied his genius to.

The concealment sock attaches via a STURDY elastic strap that slides around the holster/sheath and holds the faceplate against the holster/sheath. The faceplate is nicely backed with a grabby kinda rubber to help keep it in place. These things are great "urban camouflage" devices. Cell phones are so ubiquitous that nobody's gonna think twice (or even once) at seeing one in the region of your beltline. IMHO a very cool idea.

Thanks Rok! Don't think I could have said it better!

In fact, I'm gonna use 1000 words or so:

Brian,
I have a Bud with the VA SP that showed me a paddle he glued the shell of a pager to for concealment. I am glad to see someone ready to offer this as a modular system.
