Hi all,

I've got too many knives already. Just wanted to ask if the current production Uncle Henry are any good/decent for EDC. I'm interested in the Large Canoe and the pattern similar to a Case medium stockman. I already have a few Chinese produced Bucks, that aside from stiffer backsprings are hard to differentiate from the American produced models. Are the Uncle Henry's even in the same ballpark quality wise?

Don't bother with them. From what I have seen they are not made very well.
If you're set on Uncle Henry, look on the bay for a USA made one. They're pretty easy to come by.

I forgot to mention I have some of the old USA ones, but no where local to me stocks them now so I haven't seen the new production stuff in person.

Oh ok. :D
If you're interested in the Case Canoe or Stockman, go for it. You'll be much happier with a Case than a Taylor Schrade.

If you like your Chinese Bucks you won't be disappointed with a Taylor UH.
A rough rider version would probably just as good and cheaper .
