Hey all, just finished this one today. I've been wanting to make a short stubby folder for a while, I don't have a name for it yet let me know if you guys have any ideas. The handle scales are green canvas micarta, blade is clay tempered 1080, all screws, clip and standoffs have been bead blasted. This is the first knife with my new way of attaching the clip, I've milled out a slot for it on the inside of the lock side handle. This way its nice and deep carry. Overall length is 5 3/4", blade is 2 1/4" and closed length is 3 1/2". Weight is 2.62 oz. This one have a nice and early lockup, spyderhole licenced by Spyderco. Hope you guys like it!

Want this!

Make the clip lefthanded, scrap the spyderhole and the cutout in the handle and I'd buy the heck out of this thing :)

That is lovely Serge. The overall design is wonderful and the fit and finish looks outstanding.

With the clay temper, coarse weave of the scales, the rounded and flowing lines, it has a really organic look about it.

The pocket clip is a great feature. Is the retaining screw hidden under the scale?

Looks fantastic Serge, it has great lines. Probably your best looking folder to date.

Neat folder buddy.......now make me one with red liners under that green Micarta! ;)

I'd buy one as is Serge. Just nicely done all around, and the clip side shows as well as the show side which is very rare IMHO.
How bout the "ParaKeet"?

Just the kind of Pocket Knife that I would feel
very comfortable carrying around.

Very well done, Serge!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Serge, that is a great looking design that is excellently executed! Every time I look at your work I'm amazed by your craftsmanship!

once again, your unique look and feel win the day!

Thanks you guys! The clip is held by a milled pocket without the use of a retaining screw as I widened the end which prevent the clip from sliding out. Mike, you are inderectly responsible for me making folders as you taught Ray Laconico and he taught me, thank you!

Looks pretty nice. Looks like it might be a bit on the heavy side. Thats to be expected with such a wide blade.
