new prybaby?

I was looking at the atwood prybaby, and I could have sworn that he had a model that had a little sharpener on one side, and the hook was sharpened, like the bm rescue hook. Am I delusional?
 
There was a thing that resembled his Bug-out-Blade, but had a large rescue hook. I can't remember where I've seen it though. :confused:
 
His large prybabies had a diamond stone glued to one side of them but I don't know about a sharpened hook.
 
I think you're right. The current prybabies are mini prybabies compared to the original concept, which as I recall it was slightly larger, with that tiny DMT stone attached, and a sharpened inner curve on the bottle opener.
 
Thanks, everybody. I know I'm right, 'cos Esav knew that it was a DMT hone. Where's peter to clear this up?
 
I have a prototype of the old style. It had a red fine DMT stone on one side and red g10 on the other. The hook was sharpened on the standard models, but not on my prototype.

if anyone has an old style laying around, I could use a match to my prototype. :D
 
I seem to remeber that Mr. Atwood said that the DMT people didn't take to kindly to his use of the sharpener, so he doesn't make them like that anymore...

Yep. They didn't like him attaching them to prybabies.
