I myself a new kydex press a couple of days ago, and yesterday I made myself a new sheath for my PS. While I was at it, I made some extra, though I need to finish a few...:D

I felt like throwing a little bling on mine, so....

They look pretty good. I've been putting off buying/making a press my self for a while, probably should just go for it because my collection never seems to stop growing.:D

Thanks! The molding is actually REALLY nice. That's a crappy shop-lighting at 9:30 PM photo that doesn't show the detail well. :p

Those are great. The only thing I do not like about the PS is the sheath. I love Blade-Tech's stuff (I have a bunch of gun holsters from them), but I don't care for their sheath. It is pretty much a no go if you want to wrap the PS.

Out of curiosity what do you not like about the PS sheath?

Cool work - I really like this.

The sheath in wich you get the PS is fine for it's intented purpose.
If you carry it more casual (not as a vest-knife) you might want a sheath where you can push the sheath with you thumb to access the knife more easily.
hope this helps

Thanks all. I agree with red mag; the original sheath is well made. Frankly, after all the complaints I'd read, it wasn't as bad as I expected, EXCEPT you can't grip the handle well with the stock sheath. My sheaths have enough retention that they won't release just from a thumb push off, but they allow you to have a full grip on the handle before drawing the knife, which was my beef with the original sheath.

That sheath is absolutely gorgeous...if you decide one of them needs a new home my feelings wouldn't be hurt...:D

I like the original sheath but I only have the butt of the knife wrapped to cover the part that is left exposed. The only problem I've noticed is that when resheathing the knife, if it's not on a belt or anything, you tend to grab higher up on the sheath leaving your hand exposed to the edge. I have gotten used to it but when I let a friend use my PS (I know...I know...), he came pretty close to a nasty cut way out in the woods.

Sorry for not responding sooner. The only thing I do not like about the original sheath is that you are not able to completely wrap the grip. Outside of that one complaint, it is a very good sheath.
