New Puppies are awesome!

Just got a new puppy last night (future woods bummin buddy). Her name is Macy and she's a mix of beagle, corgi, pomeranian, and pug. She's cuter than a bug's ear. Molly (the uber beagle) hasn't really figured her out yet.

Awww, great looking pup you got there.

I'm sure she'll provide many years of fun and enjoyment.

Cute pup. Is that a beagle she's playing with? My dad has the most worthless beagle ever. Fat bastid sleeps 22 hours a day.
 
That puppy looks cute. The worst thing is the potty training, past that the rest is fun.
 
Go get some treats and teach her sit/staydown/come...RIGHT NOW !
I've raised dogs my whole life. That is a nice mix for smarts !
I guess 25 lbs at maturity with 4 lbs being gonads !
 
I'm sure we're going through all the same issues...and if not now then you will soon. My sister brought home our first dog, what is now a six month old pitbull/sheperd/husky mix running around the house all the time. And when he isn't running around he is passed out (which I guess is kinda good). He is smart...but not in a good way. You could say he has doggy smarts? Sit is about he knows...and that is only obeyed when he wants to. I attempted lay, stay down etc but I am not home enough with school and work and no one else steps up to work with him.

Maybe ill get around to taking real pictures soon and post them somewhere (I dont want to hijack this thread).

Best of luck with the puppy! She is super adorable :)
 
lol congrats sir. if only they stayed that way. all goofy and what not. they are a blast and she is awfully cute

Yup, pure beagle. Musta come from the same litter. We rescued Molly from the pound when she was 2. Fraid of guns, other men, and pretty much everything else. She love me and the family and I guess that's all that counts. She's warmed up to Macy right away and is acting like her mama. Pretty cool.

Must be a beagle thing. Old Fred's had a pretty strong paternal instinct for all the other pups we've gotten. Actually I just saw where you identified Molly as a beagle in your original post.:foot:
