Well, I missed out on that Koa, a little too rich for my blood! I did however pick up a couple of cool blocks that should make some great handles.

More Satinwood. I have a ton of this stuff now and am doing a Kephart in Feb for an order so we will see how it finishes up.

Yeah, me too! It resembles koa and is an asian wood. I do know the curls are outstanding. I have some getting stabilized for the knife but Im pretty sure it doesn't really need it. Its not as hard as some of the really hard woods but I can't scratch it and its pretty heavy.

Koa is quite nice (I have a guitar made from it). I like both of those you picked up. The Satinwood is going to be really great looking.
