Coincidentally, I just received my Jarvenpaa Bark from Ragnar last Saturday. Mine came with a bronze guard and buttcap, not brass.

I ordered a jarvenpa #1244 bark puukko from ragnar about a month ago. I love that knife.:thumbup:

The Wood Jewel is a great little carver. I started using it a little after work today. It's a great deal for only $34.00 The handle work is worth that.

It's birch bark. It really have a great feel. I'm going to put some paste wax (bee's wax) on it to seal it and keep out moisture and enhance the pattern and colors.
