Okay, I'm a sucker for stag and I like the look of congress patterns, and D2 seems like a fine steel. So, I got this on eBay from Greg over at PGQuickCo in Alabama. A 2002 SFO Queen, two blade, #31 congress in D2 and stag, 1 of 60.

The scan doesn't do it justice. It walks and talks nicely, good springs, and good heft. At four inches, it's a bit hefty for general pocket carry though. But then, I didn't really get it to EDC.

Yep, I think I'm reaching/have reached the point of full blown addiction. There's the Canal Street D2 Trapper I won this morning, and we won't talk about the S&M and two Bulldogs I have bids on, though none of those are stag. That's only part of it. Oh well, at least I'm home at night, even if it is sitting on the computer on the forum while also purusing the bay and other places, looking for my next, "investments." ;)

I have also gotten a few stag Queen knives from Greg. All of them have been outstanding! Really, some of the best stag I have seen on a knife in many years. The picture shows a #48 Whittler I got from him.

Greg is also a pleasure to deal with. He gives a good, honest description of the knives, his prices are fair, and his service is second to none.

Sweet looking Whittler there, JD!

Greg also has those stag Queen sodbusters that I hope to get someday soon. Alas, <melodramatic heavy sigh> there are a few other things I'm angling on right now.

You are hooked bad Amos, when you start buying these bad boys! Nice knife!!

 I've had some "bad" influences on here. ;) Much appreciated, btw fellas.

I can here some young fellas momma telling him, "You stay away from those Bladeforums types! They're a bad influence and will have you buying all kinds of fine knives!"

I'm still getting the occasional Delrin scaled knife or two. Yesterday, a Boker, black Delrin handled Canoe in carbon steel came in the mail. I was surprised, as it came nicely sharp from the box. It doesn't walk and talk like that little Queen that's my primary EDC, but it carried just as nice in my pocket today. Being a single spring keeps it trim. That little Queen may have some EDC competition.

I'm not hooked at all. Man, I hope that CSC Trapper comes in tomorrow! :D

Greg has some nice stuff. Sitting and waiting for my Queen Mountain Man from Sooner State Knives.

the best stag queen I have ever bought came from greg at pgquick. A Great Guy. It was drop dead beautiful

Naw, I'm not hooked at all. I just won another of Greg's auctions. This time for the Schatt & Morgan Corn Cob jigged, Autumn Maze bone trapper. I've been tracking that one and lusting on it for the last four or five days. I even told my wife I had to be on the computer a little before the closing time. I just didn't tell her what I was going to be on for. ;)

Being stainless (420HC) I may have to give this one a try like Greg is doing the CSC. I'm thinking some carry time on this knife.

See. I'm not <twitch> really <jerk, twitch> addicted to <twitch, twitch, drool, twitch> knives.
