I picked this little Queen Canoe at a gun show in Raleigh this weekend, but I'm having a hard time identifying it.

The main blade has a canoe on it, and the smaller has "Queen steel #64". The only thing I could pull up on google were pictures, but no info.
What year were these made? The guy I bought it from said it was made in the 60's, but I have no idea. Its brand new

Queen introduced that Canoe pattern in 1974 or 1975. They were essentially copying Case since Case had just started using the "Indian" etching on their 62131 Canoe pattern.

Your Queen is from the mid 70's to early 80's. Check the tang stamping, for some years the two digits of the year will be after the "Q"...like "Q78".

thanks, I checked and didn't see any stamping on the tang. Whats the collectibility of this one?

No stamping at all? That is strange. Queen did not use tang stampings for a period of time up til about 1970. They started again in 1970...but I know from owning older Queen catalogs that the #64 Canoe was not in production prior to 1974 or 75. At that time they had gone back to tang stampings.

Collector value in the $30 to $45 range.

What's the little blurb on the mark side of the tang of the main blade? It looks like a stamp, but I may be mistaken. It looks like a script Queen with a crown on the Q.

You're right....I do see a tang stamp on the main blade.
