I received a bag of scissors from an old woman for whom I was working on Saturday. In it was an old Queen Utility/ Slimline Trapper, which is ironic because the bag was decorated with the sort of kings found on playing cards. Anyways, I cleaned it up with some Scotchbrite and Q-tips, blasted it with WD40, wiped it down, and sharpened it on my favorite sharpening stone, changing a non-existant edge into a hair popper. The thing I love the most about this knife, other than its pretty scales (not sure if bone or synthetic) is the pull, which is neither too soft nor too hard. It is less than one would normally deem good, but I find this smooth pull with strong but smooth snaps very charming. OA length is 7 5/16", closed is 4", blade measures 3 5/16".

Looks like an older Queen #11 Utility / Slimline trapper to me. I have the last 3 they made. These are 4 1/8" long. Can't say for sure but it looks like bone on that one too.

That one has some age to it....1932-1955. Nice knife...plenty of life left in that one.

Real beaut! Love the bone and the patina. I also love the minimalist tang stamp. Pure class!

A real beauty! My Queen #11 Utility was one of my favorites until it disappeared into the void. (I haven't given up on it yet though...)

Pretty old knife. I know where one similiar to it is, it has the winterbottom bone instead of like yours. The want $75 for it, and I am tempted.

I'll go with Peter on this one . . . Queen's slimline is the best. Nice jigging on that old one, Connor.

Thanks for the info and input on this new prize of mine, she'll be in my rotation as an EDC for a few days a week.
