Ohh, ohh, what an eye-opener. Tai reminds again what the artist brings to bladesmithing.

That rainbow, that silver work, that shape!

double rainbow...oh my god!

That's another spectacular looking knife, Tai. The blade, handle, sterling fittings are perfect.

WOW!! Certainly is an eye opener...or even perhaps a head severer.

Stunning craftsmanship on many levels.

Wow!

Fantastic!

The most appealing part of that design to me, is the fact that he edge is all useable. (meaning, that you have a guard, but the edge clears the guard entirely if you want to use it on a cutting board).

I know that may be weird to some, but I actually use my big knives, and from time to time that means cutting food etc on a flat surface like a cutting board.

A lot of the early "bowie" designs were just oversized heavy duty kitchen style knives!

Well done! (of course, all the great fittings, the way the blade shape fits with the handle/guard, and the cool lines from the heat treat don't hurt it in the looks department either).

Always a pleasure to see what you make. It's just so much fun to look at and explore.

Great looking knife and sheath. Maybe we will see that one in a movie someday.

It's beautiful Tai. I love the activity of your quench line. You don't often see that in edge quenches. Testament to both the quality of your heat treat and your polishing.
