Continuing work with props has proven incredibly dynamic and honestly it's a lot of fun. It's tricky though; you have to set up a story and use items that help that story become a reality.

The knife is a Ralph "Bud" Richards, JS fighter with a 325 layered, later pattern, 6 1/4 inch, damascus blade. The fighter is 10 1/8 inches overall and has some pretty kool looking mammoth ivory. I just love ivory, it's awesome stuff to photograph.

Enjoy guys!

Bud really has a winner there. Great little Bowie and absolutely outstanding mammoth ivory.:thumbup::thumbup:
Thanks for sharing your beautiful image with us Caleb.

Hello Caleb!

Great looking knife and cool shot! Hope that you will add some of your great "trademark" macros as well! ;)

Best regards,
Alex

Nice shot, Caleb! I really like the guard/ferrule on this one.

Caleb,

That is a great photo.

Bud has really upped his game lately, that is a beautiful knife.

Great looking knife! One of my favorite examples of this style of knife. Bathos would make a perfect EDC fixed blade.

Great knife by Bud and photography by Caleb. I'm a big fan of Bud's work having quite a few of his knives in my collection.;);)

The photo and the knife appeal on all levels. Applaudable work by both!
