First knife I've put together in a number of months since I started doing the hawks. Hand forged leaf spring blade, ram horn spacer and deer leg bone handle. The fittings are mild steel, the ring nut is made from a piece of 3/8" rebar and welding rod.

I must have some friends in Mississippi, I was looking for this post of mine and was expecting it to be down at the very bottom or on page two. Thanks for the compliments on the knife. There's lots more bone where that came from......Ray

That's a very pretty hunter!!

BTW your organization of elements and lighting in the picture really worked well. Although the colors are neutral, they're well saturated. Enough contrasting light vs dark areas to keep it from being blah. It all seems to be there: some curves, some straights, some diagonals, some smooth, some rough, some shiny, some dull. No harsh shadows that hide the edges of items. There is enough stuff trailing off the edge of the frame to keep it anchored. The items don't look lost and floating in the middle of the shot. Thanks for the gorgeous photo. :)
