Some pictures of my new Randall 14. I've owned a few Randalls but sold them years ago for one reason or another.Owned all sorts of customs and production fixed blades but Randalls kept popping back in my head don't know why In waited so long again. Haven't had one in a long time and missed my old ones. I guess in some ways to me it's like the Harley Davidson thing.
Anyhow, This one caught my eye, the N/S single hilt was something I never knew they had on a 14. Originally didn't care fotithe hilt but I felt pulled to it everyday looking at all the listings. Well, I pulled the trigger on it and here she is. I'm gonna try not to be Randall-less ever again.

PS These are the seller's photos, I can't take a picture to save my life.

That's a true wilderness invasion knife! I've always liked the looks and function of the squared-off top guard. You did a fine job selecting a good one.

Thank you Sir. Besides this strange attraction to this variant, my thoughts were it's more functional for an outdoor user in this configuration.

Absolutely. Unless you're planning on getting into a knife fight, there really is no need for a top guard, especially for outdoor use. Great looking knife. Enjoy it.

Here's a picture of it in a Spec-Ops combat master sheath fits the14 like it was custom made for it.

awesome blade man! i dig the nylon sheath, but i like the black factory one even more!!

Thanks! Appreciate it! The leather sheath is awsome in craftsmanship and appearance but honestly if a knife can't be stored in a sheath without me worrying about corrosion and pitting, I have no practical use for it.

I don't think you would have to worry too much with stainless. I know I'm not "supposed" to but I store some O1 blades in leather with no effect. I do use them though

Honestly I've never had a problem either in the past but I used too tuff cloth my leather sheathed knives.
