New Randall Copper Models?

I've seen a couple 'copper' models crop up on the 'bay. What's the story on these? Are they a limited item? What models are available? Has anyone handled one, and thoughts on how they would hold up to actual use?

I really like the look, but don't know anything about them...

The two models that have copper on them are the Combat Companion and the mini 27. If you look at RMK website http://www.randallknives.com/ you can find them there.
I saw and handled them both at the Blade Show in June. Personally I think they look great, but I would be concerned about home much work the copper would be to maintain.
