Mail call yesterday delivered my first 130mm! Holy cow, is this thing big. I hadn’t seen one in the flesh before, and was a bit unprepared for the size of it.
It rather dwarfs my OH Forester, and the Climber just disappears next to it (insofar as Stayglow can disappear anywhere).
Then it needed a project. Happily, there was a tree in the backyard that needed to come down.
That saw goes through 2” branches easily!
I’d be lying if I said I used the knife to saw the whole tree down. A 6-7” trunk seemed a little much even for it. So I limbed it all around as high up as I could reach, and used an ordinary buck saw on the rest.
I am really impressed with this tool. This weekend, I’m going to get it out in the woods to test out the blade (and probably the saw again, just ‘cause!
