hello,

finally i got my Rat RC4.
i use to have a Ontario rat-3 in D2 but i sold it to a friend who really wanted it.

i really want a Rat rc3 and a Inzula for kydex sheath making.

i took my RC4 out on a day to the lake with my ATS Cobra in ranger-green with a Tactical-tailor E&E pouch.

Another RAT in the Netherlands! Great! Oh, and the Izula is a very nice little knife. Do you have more pics of the Cobra pack? Looks very nice.

Thanks, Barry

Great choice for your first RAT, the RC-4 was mine too. what do you mean by you want an izula for kydex sheath making? you can make a kydex sheath for almost anything.

yes thats right.

but a lot of people want a second sheath.

and i want to profite them with one (or two or three).

thanks wookie

Its what wookie does - and rather well too :)

makes sense to own a knife loads of us want alternative sheaths for - I for one dont like posing off my babies unless I REALY have too

Sweet set up--I like the pack, too.

Speaking of things I like, I've been to the Netherlands twice, in 2002 and 2003, both times to Amsterdam for work. Love the city and the country. I took the train to Haarlem, then walked to the coast--it surprised me how wild and remote feeling the coastal dunes and seashore felt. I couldn't believe I was in one of the most densely populated countries! (Being that it was mid-November probably helped)

great guys.

glad you liked holland Matt.

piet i want a inzula myself.
if i borrow yours i think you do not get it back HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

thanks wookie

cool. I'd love to see an alternative sheath for the Izula.
And you're right wanting one ... they are cool great little knives.

nice pics. My mom is from holland. In fact she is there right now on holiday with her sis and mother.

Good to see people in europe keeping knife use going:D

that is the izula of my choice ...

been wonderin - would it be possible to make a neoprene sleeve for the handle, something you can just pop on for cutting tasks that take somewhat longer?

I need to find me a piece of scrap neoprene ...

Hey Wookie,

The RC-4 and Izula are always a good choice! Nice little packages with a big usage punch. How do like the RC-4 handle? I found it had to grow on me a little, but the RC-4 is my first-consideration-blade now for anything but EDC (and for me it could hold its own on that too).
Anyway, congrats on the purchase(s).

Thanks,

D-R

Wookie, I have an idea. Maybe you could design a kydex sheath with some sort of attachment or clip for an izula sheath, so that one could piggyback their bigger RC knives with the izula. I bet alot of people on here would buy a sheath like that.
