I've been exploring this forum for a while and just wanted to say hello.
My Rat knifes (my first RAT purchase) arrived a few days ago and I have to say that I'm very impressed.
I went with the orange handles because I thought they were practical with the added benefit of looking great. I got them to put on the molle webbing of two packs and they worked out very nicely for that application. I'm definitely watching the horizon for the new RC-5, these RAT's are great.
This thread is probably NOT worthless without pictures but here they are anyway.;)

Welcome to the forums (and the RAT family)! I have the RC3 as well, and love it. I think you will be completely satisfied with your new RAT's, they are exceptional blades! :D

Welcome to the greatest family in the world, RAT!

You will be very happy with anything that has to do with RAT. Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the family. You started out with a great pair. I have an RC4, RC6, and an RC5 on pre order. You like em now wait till ypu put them to work.

Nice looking pair. When they first came out, I was partial to the original.

I am now an OD convert. :D

Those are great knives. I bought the same two last week. I have been carrying my RC3 since I got it. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality and great comfort. Enjoy your knives.

Thanks for all the input and welcomes everyone. I've had a lot of knifes over the years but rarely has one come along that has generated quite the enthusiasm as with these RAT's. I actually only landed here at Blade Forum because I was trying to learn more about the Gerber LMF a while back.:D

paulgl26..I will probably pick up an RC3Mil in a few months, an Izula for a girlfriend and a H.E.S.T. for me. I just love these guys products.

great looking RAT's there man... you need to add an Izula to the mix...

welcome to bladeforums... i see you're from Northern Cali... right on. where abouts are you at...:)

I'm jealous NCMTN2 but i'm holding out for the RC5. I need one good heavy duity fixed blade. Then I'll buy an Izula, and then ..........
Why do I keep buying knives I can't use them all at once.
can I?

Nice looking pair!! (that sounds bad! haha!)

The RC-4 is my all time favorite.., at least till I get my hands on my RC-5!!

don't know about using them all at once., but I get crap sometimes because I have so many knives with me.., I just can't stand to leave some of 'em at home! I'd carry 'em all if I thought I could still walk with all that steel strapped to me!! :p
