I walked outside for a second and my RC-3 Mil was sitting by the door. Outstanding! :D

That said I immeditely tore it apart for inspection and the knife is a beauty. I had hoped to EDC it in place of my Izula but I have an issue that needs resolution before I can do that the way I'd like to.

In another thread a member was kind enough to show his sheath attached to his pocket with the included pocket/IWB/Boot clip. That was my intention as well.

Unfortunately my clip attachment will not mate with the sheath. On the back of the clip attachment, where the clip retaining plate rests, it's 1/16th of an inch too high and the holes won't line up to screw it to the sheath.

I had thought about taking a dremmel and grinding away at the top so it would slide up and mate correctly but it looks like the whole clip will be cut in half if I take a 1/6th off the top (where it goes through from the back retainer to the actual clip).

Any advice is welcome! Thanks :)

Congrats on your new RC-3! On the sheath I would email Jeff and let him know what the problem is with your sheath. If there is something wrong with it he will send you out a new one right away! The email is info@ratcutlery.com. They have the best customer service in the business, if there's something wrong they will make it right, no questions asked. I wouldn't recommend trying to cut it or grind on it, just shoot them an email and they'll take care of you. Welcome to the family!

Has anyone else had problems with RC3 boot clips not matching up the the RC3 sheath? It would be great to see a picture of the problem so I can try to figure this out. Mike

Pictures forwarded. Mike helped me out via email - great service from the folks at RAT Cutlery! :)

Congrats on the new Knife, my RC 3 mil should be in my box come 0900 tomorrow--I hope!! I am having a Rat Attack waiting.

Congratulations are in order for you then too Deerhunter2010!

I don't know why but I still can't get myself to take my Izula out of my pocket for some reason? I even have a beatiful Perrin Street Beat and it's sitting on the shelf.

The Izula feels like a part of me - never experienced that with a knife before.

That is because the Izula is not a knife. The Izula is an extension of a limb.

That's my experience, it's in my pocket at all times and I can't even feel it there anymore - amazing!

I'm grinding my teeth waiting for the Izula's folding companion too.

I hope we get to pre-order at some point.

I think my will get here next week, hoping on Monday/Tuesday cause it's my only offdays... Will suck so much knowing it's in the mailbox and not being able to get for a week
