Well, I'm finally getting around to trying my first RAT. Not sure what took me so long.

Anyway, can anyone tell me how many columns (vertical) of MOLLE webbing are required to mount the RC-4 vertically? It looks like 2 or 3.

The RC-4 will hopefully ride my Eagle MOLLE shroud replacement for the Safariland 6004. It has two MOLLE columns in front of and behind the holster body.

I just realized there answer may very based on the way the sheath is used. I will be using the kydex sheath with 2 MOLLE locks.

Hey Matt, I guess now that you have a RAT on the way, you wont be needin any of those pesky Laconicos anymore. Send em here for propper disposal.;):p

FYI,

In case anyone has the same question. It is too narrow for 3 columns and almost too wide for 2. However, with a lot of cursing it can be prodded into 2 columns. :)
 
It's a bitch to thread but once you do it, it's like nailing it on with a 16 penny nail...it ain't coming off even if the molle strap or lock comes apart.
