Hi!

Today I received my new RC-6. Ordered at KSF, took 5 Working days for shipping to Germany (how do they do that? Even shipping IN Germany often takes longer...).

As I didnt work today, I went out to try the new knife.

And I did not expect any other result, but: THIS IS A GREAT BLADE!!!
I had to restrain me for not killing the whole forest, so I just started a little fire with the RAT Kit...

Thanks to RC for making knives like this!

congrats! looks like a great blade ...

 you didn't really start a fire in a German forest, did you?
I've been told to stay off public paths from early evening on by a person claiming to be the local Jagdaufsicht because they were hunting foxes there ...
And I hadn't left the marked trail as I only took a short walk ...

good to hear ksf is so fast, if all goes well I'll be able to pick up on of those nifty new sheaths for the Izula in January ...

It was a very tiny fire, just enough to get my cigarette lighted, bacause i´ve forgotten to fill my zippo
I peed out the fire immediately

As the local hunter is my neighbour ;), I do what I want in the forest :D

But here also streets are closed for "Treibjagd" (power-hunting?)

Note: New Graham knives is also fast and cheap...

there was no "Treibjagd" just him sitting in the bushes and jumping at harmless bypassers and shooting foxes (heard no shot all night) ... and they don't close roads for drive hunts around here you'll just have to pay attention to the horn signals ...

But that guy was a little strange anyway, he was talking about drug dealers (I know them all - they occasionally hang out at a bench there and drink beer or smoke a joint. I don't really approve of that kind of stuff, but they are not exactly drug dealers.)

Congrats, once your hand touches an RC-6 you find it kinda hard to let it go, LOL.

:)

Thats true, I was just standing in the kitchen, slicing bread, cutting meat, and the most fun of the day I had with a pumpkin: He had to be cut in very small pieces....

Have to go now, my wife will come home soon and I have to clean the kitchen :jerkit:

My RC6 is my favorite. I'm glad you like yours, have fun!

I love Germany. Everyone was really nice and I had some of the best times in my life walking around and window shopping and volksmarches and pubs. It is a beautiful country.

Awesome knife for sure. But the real story IMO is the fast service, 5 days US to Germany is QUICK! I have ordered a knife from a store 1800 miles (roughly) away from me and it took 7 days to get here via USPS priority mail.

Real nice, how do you like it? The RC-6 is the only RAT knife that I don't have. Maybe I should think about one.

I like it very much. It´s a heavy, big blade, but once you are working with it fits very well. The handle is great for big hands/use with gloves. It has got all the advantages all Rats have (the steel, easy to sharpen, great style, just the right shape, etc.).

To carry around I prefer the 4, for heavier work/fire wood batoning, ugly blackberry forests I will take my new 6!

Love your avatar. We have the patch that is always proudly displayed on our tactical mannequin at all the shows.
