I got my new RC4 the other day and decided that I'd make a leather sheath for it as I'm not too big on the Kydex one. Here's a couple of pics. The knife and sheath will get a full workout in a week or two when i get to the mountains.

Disregard the bigger knife and sheath, it was my first sheath and was kind of an expariment.

Nice job! I have a preference for leather sheaths myself. the other knife is a Becker isn't it?

Ya, the other one is a Becker. I picked it up for super cheap, and didn't really need it. Consequently, it's still never been used. I always pick up one of my customs when it comes time for a camp knife.

Sometimes a nice leather pouch will offset the tactile attributes of kydex which can help when carrying around Sensitive Humans and Easily Excited Peoples Looking for Excuses - types

I think your sheeth looks great and nicely compliments the supplied sheath. Now you have even more options for carry.

Keep up the good work!

Nice work. I've come to appreciate pouch sheaths on field knives.

I really need to learn to make sheaths. I have so many nice knives with crappy sheaths.
