I'm telling you guys something you already know, Andy makes a sweet blade! This knife completely blew me away.

The handle is perfect in shape and finish. The handle laminations are extremely well done and complement each other very well. And I haven't even gotten to the blade finish, I know Andy is proud of his 3D spalting, and now I know why. Pictures don't do this finish justice, period. And of course the blade shape and grind are spot on, I might thin the edge out a little more after I get it out in the woods, but I do that with almost all my knives.

Thanks again Andy for knocking this one out of the park!

It is very cool to see your pictures BK. Thanks for your support!

I love the spalting on that balde! I loved that one when I first saw it. Andy makes knives that are damned near magical with a combination of beautiful aesthetics, excellent fit and finish, sublime ergonomics, and very functional blade shapes. I love how my Bushfinger, my Hunter, and my Hiking Buddy all have great points to work with on finer details but still enough belly for skinning and game processing, and that Recluse looks to be the same way. I'm gonna end up getting one of those before the end...which will be just great, then it will take even longer to get out the door for trying to decide which knife that day....:o

That Osage and Walnut just "pop" off of each other. Very nice score. Might have to add the Recluse to my list now.

I saw that one in the post last week. Very nice. I'm patiently waiting to score one of Andy's blades myself. Looks like I got some catchin up to do.

That handle with the spalting is crazy good looking. Congrats!
