New Recon 1 question for Cold Steel

Just curious. Does Lynn Thompson sign every Recon 1 box? I just picked up a very lightly used plain edged Recon 1 Tanto for $45 in the for sale section. The box has a sticker certifying it as CTS-XHP signed by Lynn. I know it is the XHP and not 8A, because the DLC is obvious.

Are all of em like this, or just the ones sold direct from Cold Steel.
 
Our very first small production run of these knives was very small (just a few hundred pieces). They were made without the blade steel etch.
Lynn signed every box to confirm authenticity that it's the new steel
I think some went out to dealers, as well as being sold direct
 
yep, i got an early version and mine matches yours to the tee, in your descriptions.
 
Well, today was my first day carrying the knife. I am going to be honest-I typically don't go in for tantos. I got this knife to check it out, because the $45 asking price was just too good to pass on it... and maybe as potential future trade bait. But this thing is way more useful than I would have ever thought. I think I will be hanging onto this one. I actually like it more than the spear point Recon 1 I gave my 16 year old.
