Just rec. the new style Recon1 clip point pe from Mike Sastre. Very very nice knife and price point too. No pics cause my camera needs batteries but it is much slimmer, lighter, way better ergonomics and the blade is beyond sharp. Very smooth to open and when it locks open its almost hillarious it is so freakin tight. Don't care for the blade coating but hey can't have everything. Very slim too as in narrow cross section but still good handle ergo's for me which I appreciated. Ok, that's it for now. keepem sharp
 
I'm really liking this knife from the pics I've seen so far. Post a pic if you can.
 
Yep Mike Sastre has these along with the new AK47 knives. He is on the CS forums. Speedy service and a nicer fella you won't find. He is the owner of River City Sheaths. keepem sharp
 
good to hear, i have been looking forward to these for a while now, what is the best way to purchase from him, through his site or through the CS forums ?
 
I would contact him through his site but he does have a thread going on the forums over there and he responds promptly. I'll tell ya for what I paid and what it is it is a bargain I think. It is much slimmer than the original, has the triad lock which is a very good thing, better handle ergos, and lighter weight.

The only thing I did was bent the clip out a bit with a butter knife, and sanded the g10 a bit smoother and then cleaned it up with WD40. Didn't even take it apart. Removed the clip though when I sanded the scales and I sanded them with 600 grit and it polished up the pins so it looks kind of cool now. You know shinny contrasting with the all black. thats it, keepem sharp
