Steel 5160
Overall Length 15 inches
Blade Length 9 1/2 inches
Handle Curly Koa
There is a false grind on the spine did not come out well in the pictures
Thanks to Jason Knight for all the help with the heat treat.
Please let know what you think (be honest) can't learn with out real feed back

Looks VERY good and like it would do its job well!

Is there any function to the hole just in front of the handle?

Peter

Thanks for the kind comments. Yes, the hole in front of of the handle is a forward lanyard hole

Thanks, Gene

Nice round spine and handle profile. It looks like a heck of a wood cleaver for sure.

The only thing that caught my eye is the front of the handle could be extended just a bit farther forward. The front lanyard hole is placed OK but it could be drilled through the wood.

Very nice. I agree with Mr. Bump on the handle and thong hole. It is an area that I always ponder over myself.
