I've been working on nice ways to carry the great knives that have found their way to my home.
Earlier this year in a thread on GEC fixed blades, one of our porch members Brumby53, posted a picture of a sheath that he made from an old kangaroo leather boot. I thought it was creative and turned out great.
He was extremely generous (common in porch members) and shipped me another section of the boot all the way from down under. It took a while, but I have a kangaroo leather sheath for my stag drop point.
Thank you Brumby53. I will have this combo an my hip this season when i'm in the woods.

I also have been collecting Viper's, and my prize knife is a SFO in Ivory Bark. A friend on mine is a leatherworker who works in exotic leathers, and had a small piece of elephant hide for a slip.
It turned out nice.
