I made a new sheath for my GW this weekend. Now I've gotta start over making another for the new one...

Hi, interesting cut with a "wide mouth" design. :D

Did you coat it with neatsfoot oil? Looks like some edge coating too.

Careful, leather work is fun and addictive. Soon you won't have any free time left, but you'll have a ton of very cool sheaths! :thumbup:
 
Good eye. The edges are Edge Koted, and its treated with Mink Oil. I took a year off knifemaking and made sheaths because I thought the end product (sheath) detracted from the knife. Back to knifemaking now. No worries about getting hooked on sheathwork. I dread it like all getout.
 
Awesome work. What's with all the members here making their own sheaths lately? I need me some skillzzzzz like that. :D
