I know this has nothing to do with knives. But my wife got me something I have wanted for 30 years. My dream ride a 1975 Cadilac Fleetwood Hearse. I have much work to do on her body wise. But she runs and drives like the classy lady she is. 22 feet long she won't fit undr my carport. 500 cubic inches of American made horsepower fed threw a 4 barrel quadrajet carb she'l pass anything on the high-way except a gas station. I drove her right out of a barn in northern Va. put new shoes on her and a friend of mine drove her all the way home to NC. Oh yes she came complete with a Casket in the back. I can't wait to drive her to the July meeting. This is the last great Dinosaur Detroit made. Crap the door is heavyer than a Toyota.

Pretty cool ride.

I drove an old Cadilac chop top with a 500 in it. Pretty fun.

Really cool!
You could convert the casket into a forging tool box. It would sure be neat at hammer-ins.

Back in the mid-70's, I had a change to buy a really nice '51 Pontiac hearse for $1000, but my wife (at the time) wouldn't have it. She said she was not going to have a hearse siting in the driveway. I was going to outfit it as a camper.

What a great way to drive down the costs of your own funeral arrangements. Caskets are EXPENSIVE. Put that one in storage until you need it.

Yes, the old lady definitely needs some TLC, but she will dress up nicely. I'm reminded of the movie Harold and Maude.

I never thought about makeing a forge out of the coffin. I could put the forge in one end and a heat treat oven in the other. Mobile Bladesmith shop. There's plenty of room for an anvil inside.. I'm looking at another hearse actually 2 still working out some details ( Like price).
