Hey guys,

Here are two new models from Trace,

Rinaldi_LEO.jpg

This one is the LEO model. 4 1/2 inch blade, 9" overall. 3/16" D2 heat treated by Paul Bos, blade is 1 1/4 at widest point.

This one is a Prototype of a new design Trace will be doing for The EDGE Equipment. Tactical Utility knife, full flat ground, 3 3/4" blade, 8 1/4" overall, 1/8" D2 steel, 1 1/4" wide blade at widest point.

I think Trace has a couple winners with these designs.

Thanks guys!

Both of these knives are terrific pieces. Trace is very innovative in his design and materials both. The scales on the LEO are affixed with allen type bolts. I have a good feeling about both of these models.

Thanks for the kind words guys:-) To answer Phillips question on the LEO.. No the handle scales are not removeable. Since it is a tool steel knife I dont want water working its way under the scales to cause corrosion so I use a Kevlar epoxy to secure and seal the G-10 handle scales. I also use Loc Tight on the stainless screws. For a knife made with BG, or 154CM/ATS, It would not be a problem to make them removeable, BUT I would still watch under the scales closely to prevent rust after prolonged wet use...

Take Care
