Good evening everyone. This is Jason at New River Knife Works. I’ve always followed various knife and outdoor forums and decided I’d bite the bullet and join BladeForums since I’m always creeping around looking at pictures of all the cool knives on here. I’m not sure if I’m posting in the correct forum/thread, so bear with me please.

A little bit about me: I live in Princeton, WV with my lovely wife, an ornery German Shepherd, and a pampered cat. My day job is working in local government assisting communities with infrastructure and economic development projects. As a hobby I started an online cutlery business back in 2011 (Triple R Enterprises, now with a trade name of New River Knife Works). So far I’m not filthy rich from it, but I sure enjoy messing with knives all the time!

I’ll be posting knives, flashlights, etc. on here from time to time so please let me know if I can help with anything. Also, I usually try to do a promotion on Friday called Flashlight Friday where I post a flashlight with a knife at a discounted package price.

Looking forward to being part of the group,
Jason

Welcome to the forums Jason and your wife! Always good to see new members ... and a good dealer. Hope you jump in and feel at home. Alot of good people to meet on here.

Welcome. My wife and I call Princeton home, although we've been in ATL since 1999. We lived on Johnson Street, a couple of blocks from the courthouse.

We graduated from Concord. Then we taught a while. She was a traveling music teacher at Thorn Street School, Ceres Elementary, and Oakvale. I taught at Montcalm HS.

Do you have a storefront in Princeton, or is NRKW exclusively online?

Welcome Jason!

You're a lucky man to live in WV. I use to camp and fish in the Elkins/Buckhannon area. I still hope to call WV home someday.

Thanks for the welcome. I’m a Concord alum as well Dale.
Elkins is beautiful, especially in the fall. I’m pretty fortunate to have a lot of nice scenery around Princeton as well.

Sorry Dale - forgot to answer your question. We’re exclusively online. Every so often I set up at a gun show or meet someone if they’re traveling through and interested, but the bulk of the business is just web. Since I work during the day I’m more than happy to take calls in evenings and at night. My phone is 304-888-0358.

I have your site bookmarked. Best wishes with the venture. Next time we're home I'll get in touch. Maybe we can get some dinner and chat.

Welcome and good luck. I am sure you will be glad you signed up.

Just one question, are you making the flashlights that will be featured, for example in "flashlight friday?"

No, right now I’m carrying both Olight and Fenix and pair one of those up with a knife. I rotate both the flashlight brand and the knife brand randomly.
