I would love to see a new Rookie in FFG with a new steel and scale material. Anyone else interested in something like this? I feel like it would sell really well. If yes, what steel and scale material would you like to see?
Hell, I would even let Sal choose the materials if he wanted.(big smilie goes here)

Hey Sal, what do you think? I know you have a lot on your plate. Just wondering.

I would LOVE to see a sprint run of the rookie! I like the G-10 handles but i suppose it would be cool to see something different like TI or micarta scales. Upgrade the blade to S30V maybe. It would cost a bit more but i'd get one.
 
S30V would be my choice also. Wouldn't mind CTS XHP either. I was thinking TI OR CF but Micarta would definitely rock also. A lot of CF lately. We can dream can't we?
 
I think they have had trouble selling what is left of the Sprint with green G10 scales from a year or two ago. I love the worker, but I gather that not many people do which is why it seems like a tough sell.

If we're wishing.... then I'll take one in ZDP-189 and black G10. ;)
 
I agree David, the Worker is a great blade. If not for the Rookie G10 I would own multiple Workers. ZDP-189 would probably work best. Look what it did for the Dragonfly. I believe you would have to fancy up the scales to make it more appealing to the masses. It would still be a hard sale though I know. With a ffg it seems more appealing than the Bradley Air. It would need a redesigned deep carry pocket clip but no paper clip, please.
 
I would get another one, but would prefer CF, especially the laminate like on the Chaparral. I am OK with VG10, but would be happier with something like S35v.
