I understand nobody reads the stickies but this one is important to the CRK sub forum regulars. We have a good history of highlighting and hunting out the fakes we find out there in the world. :)

There is a thread at the top of the page about reporting counterfits and perhaps that should be updated or a new one created. We don't want people getting infracted for trying to help.

Just a word to the wise.....:p

The important part is "Manufacturers get to police discussions of counterfeits in their own forums."

Basically this new rule is meant to deal with threads in the discussion forums. Manufacturers are encouraged to handle their forums as they see fit.

The problem is some manufacturers are more active in their sub forums than others. It is probably worth approaching CRK to see how they want to deal with it. People are always going to talk about fakes as they are now, unfortunately, very much part of the picture.

I know some people here have been infracted for posting links to fakes on e-bay while others haven't. I personally would rather not see links to e-bay or sites that sell those knives but simply words and pictures for indentification purposes instead.
