Actually, the WorkChamp is not a new model; I first became interested in it after reading a glowing review posted to rec.knives by vt@pipeline.com in January of 1997 (which, alarmingly, DejaNews can't find any more). VT got it in Hong Kong, and I've never seen it available in the US; as mentioned above, we seem to get only a subset of all the SAK models made (although, I suppose if 3000 Forum members sent them email ...
).
As Eric S points out, it's available at
www.swiss-knife.com (which gets cranky if you leave the "." on the end), and actually, has been for some time -- it's been on my "must get
someday" list for quite a while, but other things always seem to win out.
It's definitely a multitool alternative that you can put in your pocket, but the downside is no locking tools...
