New San Mai Bobbio Forge

Here in Salem, Oregon we have two forged in fire contestants, a winner and a 2nd placer... I was trying to get a knife from one of them but then stumbled onto this local knife maker who blows both of them away, Bobbio Forge. So after two hours of just talking to this wonderful Smith, I was able to own this work of art!

That's awesome that you know him, I could of talked to him for 8 hours straight if I didn't have to go and get my son after 2 hours.

If you'd like a chance to chat with him more, you might want to check out and join the 5160 club, or the NWBA (Northwest Blacksmith Association). He's a regular at these meeting, along with other local knifemakers and blacksmiths.
