Here's a photo of one of my latest Sandpipers....

This has a 3 1/2" BG-42 blade, titanium frame, and amber stag-jigged bone overlays. The grooved titanium pivot collar gives you a little something extra to grab onto when taking it out of your pocket.

I think bone can add a degree of "warmth" to knives - especially in "earth" and "natural" tones.

Most everybody who handled this knife really liked the look and feel of the grooved pivot collar. I machined a whole bunch of them, so I guess I'll have to start putting them on more of my folders.
