Good Morning to All

Young Sher group with new Kamis are doing well, the blades are just about ready. In order to make the top quality leather sheath/scabbard shop manager hired new Sarki from Dharan. Due to heavy rain new Sarki was trap near the koshi river. There will be slight delay on all your special ordered Knives and Swords.

This new sarki from Dharan on the way to kathmandu due to the heavy rain last few days he was trap near the Koshi river barrage water level higher than the bridge so the transportation stopped. As soon transportation start he will be here I talked him each day by phone.



I am also not seen this new sarki work but I heard from the people he has the one of the best scabbard maker sarki from Dharan so I hopping that he will perform better quality job here.



New kamis going well now I have focus them on new verities items.

Sounds Great to me and I have nothing but time so I can wait for my stuff for sure,,,
 
Very exciting. I'll be keeping my eye out for a blade from one of the new Kamis.
 
We have a kami mark for the blade, why dont we have a sarki mark for the scabbard? normally we forget them...

That is true...

seems the apprentices making the karda/chakma and the sarkis making the sheaths don't get appreciated as much
even if the kukri blade itself is where the highest value is....
 
great, now you want marks for the apprentices too?

"Who made my Karda?"
"Why did a different guy make my Chakmak than the one who made my Karda?"
"Did this apprentice go on to make blades? Why not? He made a great Karda!" LOL

Just saying, I will admit the Sarkis deserve a mark as they are artists themselves but the apprentices need to earn one.
