new saw soon

They got one of those at the local Wholesale Tool store. MEGA badass. Good for you!

Wow, that's some serious saw. I'm curious about that table, it looks like it stops AT the blade rather than wrapping around it. I don't have much experience with larger band saws, the mid sized delta floor models are about as fancy as I've messed with, so maybe I'm just clueless, but why is it made that way?

There is a slit in the table, the pictures just don't show it well.

i can let the blade travel into the table and use it that way

Good for you Butch. It takes a bit to get money together to buy a nice piece of machinery; worth ever nickle of it.
Am I turning green or what:) ?

Where did you go to get it? Just curious, I'm always looking for new places to blow money ;)

I shop quite a bit at HGR but the one I have came from a window manufacturer in Youngstown that used it for cutting scrap vinyl, so it's had an easy life.

You did good, it's an amazing quality saw and it's nice to know parts are easy to get.

decker, if you decide you're interested email me to talk, I don't want to derail Butch's thread. Mine's a 3 phase and I'm including a brand new VFD with it.

My brother has one.Hell of a saw. I keep trying to talk him out of it.
